Privacy Policy

Last Updated: April 2026

We collect some information to send you recipes and manage our website. Here’s what we actually do with it.

Information We Collect

When You Subscribe: Your email address. That’s it. If you add your name, we’ll use it to personalize emails. Optional.

When You Comment or Email: Your name, email, and message. We use this to respond to you and sometimes feature community stories (only with permission).

When You Visit: We use Google Analytics to see which recipes people read and how long they stay. This helps us know what to write more of.

Payment Information: If you buy anything from us, payment processors handle your credit card info—we never see full card numbers. We only get order details.

How We Use Your Information

Sending You What You Asked For: Newsletter recipes? We send them. Recipe question? We answer it. That’s the main reason we collect info.

Making Our Site Better: Analytics help us see which recipes work and which don’t. This helps us improve.

Community Features: If you share a story, we might feature it (with your permission).

Legal Stuff: If a court orders it, we’ll share information. If we detect abuse, we might take action. Otherwise, your data stays private.

Emails: We might email you about new recipes or resources we actually use and believe in. You can unsubscribe anytime—one click on every email.

Data Protection

What We Do:

  • Use SSL encryption on our website (https://)
  • Store emails in secure databases
  • Only Linda and Sofia can access user data
  • Don’t keep data we don’t need
  • Update security practices as threats change

What We Don’t Do:

  • Sell your email to anyone
  • Share your data with marketers
  • Build profiles about you
  • Store credit card numbers

Real Talk: We’re a small team, not a Fortune 500 company. We take security seriously, but absolute security doesn’t exist. If data is compromised, we’ll tell you immediately.

  • Request corrections if something’s wrong
  • Ask us to delete your information

We don’t knowingly collect info from kids under 13. If you think a child provided information, email us and we’ll delete it.

Our content is for adults, though families enjoy recipes together—that’s great. We just don’t collect children’s data directly.
